Join a community conversation about hate mitigation in Hamilton
HAMILTON, ON - Residents of Hamilton are invited to attend public engagement events that will help improve current and inform the development of City’s new hate mitigation policies and procedures.
The City of Hamilton has retained a consultant, Sage Solutions, to conduct public engagement on hate mitigation. The consultant will engage with equity-seeking groups, community partners, stakeholders, residents and people with lived-experiences. The consultant will also engage to further understand root causes, apply best practices and offer key recommendations on how to address hate and discrimination within the broader Hamilton community.
The consultant’s recommendations will assist the City of Hamilton in taking further necessary actions to make Hamilton a more tolerant, welcoming and inclusive city.
