Lane restrictions on a portion of Mud Street W beginning on Monday
HAMILTON, ON – To safely complete road resurfacing on the south side of Mud St W, the City of Hamilton will reduce Mud St W to a single lane in each direction between Isaac Brock Dr and Upper Centennial Pkwy beginning Monday, August 15 for approximately five weeks.
The work on the south side of Mud St W is expected to wrap up on or before September 12, 2022. Once work is completed on the south side, crews will shift work onto the north side of Mud St.
The scope of work includes removal of the existing asphalt, grading of the existing stone, repaving the road, catch basin repairs, irrigation system upgrades and line painting.
Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra travel time. A detour route will be in place for truck traffic.
HSR Route #43 Stone Church will remain on it’s regular route but passengers may experience minor delays.
The City of Hamilton thanks motorists, pedestrians and cyclists for their patience as we complete these important infrastructure improvements.
