Lane restrictions on Upper James St beginning Monday

HAMILTON, ON – To safely complete sanitary forcemain construction on Upper James St., the City of Hamilton will reduce Upper James St. between Twenty Rd. and Alderson Dr. to one lane in each direction beginning on Monday, March 15, 2021 for approximately four months.

The work is expected to wrap up on or before July 31, 2021, weather permitting.

Motorists can expect delays.

Service delays may occur on HSR Routes #20, #27 and #35. Any changes to stop locations during the construction process will be updated at: www.hamilton.ca/hsrdetours

Businesses in the area will remain open throughout the duration of the construction. Businesses and residents impacted by noise, dust or water service restrictions have been notified.
