Lane restrictions on Upper Sherman Ave beginning tomorrow

HAMILTON, ON – In order to accommodate road resurfacing in the area, the City of Hamilton will be implementing lane restrictions in both directions on Upper Sherman Ave between Fennell Ave E and Limeridge Road E beginning tomorrow for approximately six weeks.

All lanes on Upper Sherman Ave between Fennell Ave E and Limeridge Road E will receive a “shave and pave” treatment, where the top two inches of the existing pavement is milled away and new asphalt is put back on top.

Traffic will be able to travel in one lane in each direction throughout the construction, but motorists and HSR customers traveling through the area may experience delays.
