Lest We Forget – Hamilton Remembrance Day Services
HAMILTON, ON – In recognition of Remembrance Day, Hamilton will honour and remember its veterans, and all who served Canada during war, armed conflict and peace. The public is invited to join Veterans at services and parades planned across the city on two days: Sunday, November 5 and on Remembrance Day, Saturday, November 11, 2017.
Hamilton Street Railway (HSR) is offering free rides to veterans in uniform on November 5, 11 for bus travel to and from Remembrance Day services.

- Glanbrook Service at 2 pm, Glanbrook Cenotaph, Glanbrook Arena, 4300 Binbrook Road
- West Hamilton Service at 10:30 am, St. George Cenotaph, St. George's Reformed Episcopal Church, 134 Emerson Street
Saturday, November 11, 2017
- Hamilton Garrison Parade & Service
- Parade 10:15 a.m., John Foote V.C. Armouries, 200 James St N, to Veterans’ Place at Gore Park
- Service 10:45 a.m., Veterans’ Place at Gore Park, King St E
- There will only be one Hamilton service this year
- Ancaster Service at 10:30 am, Old Town Hall, 310 Wilson Street East
- Dundas Parade & Service at 10:30 am, Dundas Cenotaph, Dundas Community Centre, 10 Market Street
- Stoney Creek Parade & Service at 10:30 am, Stoney Creek Cenotaph, King Street and Highway 8
- Waterdown Service at 10:45 am, Royal Canadian Legion Waterdown Branch 551, 79 Hamilton Street North
- Mount Hope Service at 10:30 am, Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, 9280 Airport Road
- The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 163 Service at 10:30 am, 435 Limeridge Road East
- Lynden Service at 10:30 am, Royal Canadian Legion Beverly Branch 500, Lynden Legion Park, 206 Lynden Road
