Lights Out on the Waterfront Trail

Hamilton, ON – August 9, 2016 – Due to an electrical outage, Hamilton’s Waterfront Trail will have no pathway lighting for approximately one week. The lights are out between Princess Point (Longwood Ave N) and the Floating Bridge (Desjardin Canal/High Level Bridge area).

Residents using the trail after dark should be cautious and pay extra attention to their surroundings. The City has posted temporary signs in the area to notify trail users of the power outage.

The City thanks residents for their cooperation and patience while we work to restore the lights.
