Mayor Horwath delivers keynote address at annual Mayor’s breakfast hosted by Hamilton’s Chamber of Commerce
Following Thursday’s Mayor’s breakfast at Liuna Station, Hamilton Mayor Andrea Horwath released the following statement:
“It was an honour to deliver the keynote address at this year’s Mayor’s breakfast, hosted by the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce. The HCOC has helped to build Hamilton’s prosperity for over 175 years. From health sciences, to agriculture, arts and culture as well as infrastructure, manufacturing and logistics – Hamilton is well on its way to becoming a powerhouse in these sectors. While we face some challenges, we will rise to meet them together, and in doing so we will set our City up for generations of success. The Made-in-Hamilton solutions we develop to address our challenges can and will be used as an example in Canada and beyond.
Thank you to HCOC President Greg Dunnett for organizing a successful and engaging event.”
“The Hamilton Chamber of Commerce was honoured to host Mayor Horwath for her inaugural Mayor’s Breakfast, drawing a sold-out crowd of over 500 members from our local business community,” said Greg Dunnett, President & CEO of the Chamber. “We share a vision with Mayor Horwath: to see Hamilton become the top city in Canada to live, work, and play. We believe that a strong business community is essential to a strong Hamilton, and we are committed to supporting local businesses and fostering an environment for growth and innovation. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with Mayor Horwath and her team to develop solutions that create economic and social prosperity for all.”
