Nominations open for the 31st Sport Volunteer Awards
HAMILTON, ON - February 13, 2017 - The City of Hamilton is looking for nominations to recognize the many dedicated sports volunteers in the Hamilton community at the 31st Annual Sport Volunteer Appreciation Banquet.
There are five main categories for the Sport Volunteer Awards including:
- Distinguished Adult Sport Volunteer Awards
- Distinguished Youth Sport Volunteer Awards
- Major Sport Volunteer Awards
- Dr. Gene Sutton Club Excellence Award
- City of Hamilton Sport Hero Banner Series
An appreciation banquet to celebrate the contributions of the nominees and award finalists is being planned for September 21, 2017 at the Hamilton Convention Centre by Carmen’s.
