Notice of PIC for Sewer & Drain, & Water Works By-law Reviews
The City of Hamilton is currently undertaking a review and update of two key by-laws: the Sewer and Drain By-law and the Water Works By-law. These revisions aim to modernize the content by aligning with current practices, including industry best practices, and City policies. Prior to presenting the revised by-laws to Council, Hamilton Water would like to provide stakeholders with an opportunity to become informed about the significant changes that may impact them.
How to Participate
Public Information Centres - PIC
The City is seeking feedback on the proposed updates from the public and interested stakeholders. Public Information Centres (PIC) are being held to provide the public the opportunity for review the proposed changes and provide feedback and ask questions. Proposed by-law changes will be presented to Hamilton City Council in Fall 2023.
Two PIC sessions providing the same information will be held:
Session 1
Date Friday, June 23, 2023
Time 10 am to 2 pm
Location Hamilton Museum of Steam & Technology
900 Woodward Avenue, Hamilton
Session 2
Date Tuesday, June 27, 2023
Time 4 to 6 pm
Location Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum
9280 Airport Road, Mount Hope
