Parking and noise impacts in the Locke Street area this spring

HAMILTON, ON - May 3, 2017 -  In order to prepare for upcoming improvements to the Locke Street area, the City of Hamilton will be completing sewer investigations and sewer cleaning work along Locke Street and some adjacent side streets this spring.

To help minimize impacts to local businesses and residents, crews will complete their work during the evening and overnight hours from approximately 6 pm until 6 am on weekdays beginning Monday, May 8 until late June 2017.

Residents, businesses and visitors in the area should expect some parking impacts, potential traffic delays and periodic noise throughout the evening hours during May and June.

The City thanks residents for their patience and cooperation as we work to complete this investigation and cleaning work ahead of the upcoming improvements to the Locke Street area.
