Points-Packed Weekend for The Great Hamilton Scavenger Hunt App Adventure

HAMILTON, ON - June 29, 2017 - As we head into the Canada 150 Day weekend, The Great Hamilton Scavenger Hunt is offering new exciting bonus points for a points-packed weekend! 

From fireworks, live music, food trucks, Tall Ships, multicultural activities, picnics, pancakes, cake and more, there are points for all your Canada 150 Day celebrations. From selfies, trivia and video, there is something for everyone with over 14,000 available points this weekend!

All new players that sign up between June 29 and July 6, 2017 will receive a starting bonus of 5,000 points, plus all players are eligible for bonus points for referring friends.

The Great Hamilton Scavenger Hunt began on June 9, 2017 and continues through September 12, 2017. This app-based adventure is a fun way for people of all ages to explore our diverse city and 150 of its landmarks, festivals, events plus quintessential Hamilton, Canadian and summer experiences. 

The Grand Prize is a weekend getaway in Ottawa, including accommodation, attraction passes, and more for a couple or family of four.

• The Great Hamilton Scavenger Hunt app includes all Canada 150 Hamilton 2017 Signature Events.
• As people visit locations and fulfil objectives listed in the app, they will accumulate points.
• At the end of each week, those with the most points will win prizes.
• At the end of the hunt duration, a grand prize trip will be awarded.
• People can play individually or with a single device, as a family, or team.
• Players under the age of 18 can play with permission of an adult/guardian.
