Sections of Green Acres Park and Henry & Beatrice Warden Park in Stoney Creek to close for repairs

HAMILTON, ON, February 9, 2017 – The City of Hamilton will be closing sections of Green Acres Park and Henry and Beatrice Warden Park over the coming weeks to restore and stabilize slopes along Battlefield Creek.

• The trail at Green Acres Park will be closed from February 13 to 17, 2017.
• The trail and playground at Henry and Beatrice Warden Park will be closed from February 21 to March 17, 2017, weather permitting.

Both parks are located in the area of Queenston Road and Centennial Parkway S, along Battlefield Creek.

The City thanks residents for their patience as we complete these important repairs.
