Statement From Mayor Eisenberger on the Humboldt Broncos

As the news emerged this past weekend of the horrible and tragic accident in Western Canada, we’ve grieved alongside all of Canada, and the world.

The City of Hamilton sends our thoughts and prayers to the Humboldt Broncos hockey community - there are no words to ease the magnitude of your loss.

Mayor Eisenberger has asked Staff to lower flags outside City Hall, Municipal Centres and arenas throughout our city. As well, at the request of the Hamilton Bulldogs Hockey Club the flag will be lowered at the First Ontario Centre.
