Talk like a Pirate Day at the Hamilton Children’s Museum
Hamilton, ON - September 12, 2016 - Arr me matey! On Saturday, September 17, 2016 the Hamilton Children’s Museum presents a day of adventure to celebrate International Talk Like a Pirate Day.
Public are invited to “Practice yer Pirate Talk”, dress up like a Pirate and get their faces painted, partake in “Pirate Games and Activities”, and enjoy “Pirate Treats”.
Come face to face, if ye dare, and learn how to swordfight like an old salty dog. Get a taste of adventure when Zoo to You brings animals to the museum that pirates might encounter. Don’t forget a chance to claim yer bounty by partaking in the “Swashbuckling Pirate Scavenger Hunt”. Dress up like a Pirate and get yourself in for free!

The Hamilton Children’s Museum invites visitors to touch, build, experiment, invent, and imagine in a friendly, child-centred setting. The museum, housed in a former Gage family home, has been stimulating curiosities and providing opportunities for family learning for over 30 years.
