Tickets now on sale for City of Hamilton’s 21st Annual Senior of the Year Awards Gala

Hamilton, ON – April 21, 2015 – Tickets are now available for the City of Hamilton’s 21st Annual Senior of the Year Awards Gala which is being held on Tuesday, June 14, 2016. The annual Gala is an opportunity to celebrate seniors living in Hamilton who make outstanding voluntary contributions to enrich the social, cultural or civic life of our community. Attendees will enjoy pre-dinner entertainment, a three-course meal and the awards ceremony at Michelangelo Events and Conference Centre, 1555 Upper Ottawa Street, Hamilton.

Hamilton’s Mayor Fred Eisenberger will be on hand to thank nominees for the many ways they make Hamilton a great place to live. “For some people,” says Eisenberger, “volunteering is about giving, for Hamilton’s seniors, it is a way of living and for that we are very grateful.”

There are nine award categories including:
