Tomorrow’s Waterdown Community Meeting cancelled due to a winter storm warning
HAMILTON, ON - The City of Hamilton is cancelling tomorrow’s Waterdown Community Meeting (Tuesday, February 12, 2019) due to Environment Canada’s winter storm warning that is calling for icy conditions and freezing rain at the time of the event.
The City wanted to ensure that citizens’ safety came first. The meeting, that was to be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish Hall at 715 Centre Road, will be rescheduled in the near future. The meeting was planned to introduce three planning initiatives and studies. The objective of the presentations will be for citizens to share their vision for the area and help the City better understand the strengths and uniqueness of the local Waterdown community.
The 3 Waterdown Projects that will be discussed in an upcoming meeting will be:
- The Waterdown Community Node Secondary Plan Study
- The Waterdown Community Transportation Management Study
- The Waterdown Village Built Heritage Inventory
