Traffic impacts at Rymal Rd E and Upper Wellington St beginning Monday
HAMILTON, ON – In order to safely complete sewer by-pass installation, a series of intermittent interruptions and lane restrictions will take place at the intersection of Rymal Road East and Upper Wellington Street and surrounding areas beginning on Monday, July 19, 2021.
Dates for the work are weather permitting. Details including road closure limits and timing can be found at hamilton.ca/roadclosures.
Majority of the work is expected to wrap up on or before July 22, 2021. The center turning lane and bike lanes on Upper Wellington Street between Rymal Road East and Dicenzo Drive will remain closed until October, 2021 while work is completed.
Details on the traffic, noise and dust impacts will be shared with residents in the area.
Motorists and cyclists should follow signs for detour where posted and may experience minor delays.
