Doors Open Hamilton at Whitehern

Built in 1848 and expanded in the 1930s, Whitehern was lovingly maintained by the McQuesten family for three generations. Step back in time as you discover original furnishings from the Georgian, Victorian, and Edwardian eras, set against the backdrop of Thomas B. McQuesten’s 1939 career. 

In honor of this year's Doors Open Ontario theme, after touring the house, wander through the historic Stables, once used as a stable, then a garage, and now beautifully renovated for public programs and events.
