The Fruitland-Winona Secondary Plan establishes the land use, transportation network, infrastructure requirements, development standards and protection of natural areas and heritage resources to guide the development of lands in the Secondary Plan area over the next 20 years.
Status
- November 22, 2016: The OMB issued a decision with respect to partial approval of the Fruitland-Winona Secondary Plan policies as they apply to these lands:
- 1218 Barton Street (Part Lot 5, Concession 2, Plan 62R-6648, PIN 17366-0215);
- Rear of 1216 Barton Street (Part Lot 5, Concession 2, Rear of Part 3, Plan 62R-6648;
- 1226 Barton Street (Part Lot 5, Concession 2, Plan 62R-14906, Parts 1, 3, 4 & 6, PIN 17366-0027;
- 1219 Highway No. 8 (Part Lot 5, Concession 2, PIN 17366-0053;
- 1054 Barton Street (Part Lot 8, Concession 2, (Saltfleet), Part 1, 62R1754, PIN 17364-0011LT);
- Part Lot 8, Concession 2, Saltfleet, as in CD471330, PIN 17364-0031LT);
- Part Lot 7, Concession 2, Saltfleet, as in AB56363, PIN 17364-0032LT);
- 288 Glover Road, Hamilton (Part Lot 10, Concession 10, Slatfleet, Part 1, 62R10970, PIN 17360-0026LT).
- December 12, 2015: The OMB issued a decision with respect to partial approval of the Fruitland-Winona Secondary Plan policies as they apply to: 860 and 884 Barton Street
- June 30, 2015: The OMB issued a decision with respect to partial approval of the Fruitland-Winona Secondary Plan policies as they apply to these lands: 1290 South Service Road, 5 Vince Mazza Way, 23 Vince Mazza Way, 1310 South Service Road, 400 Winona Road and 395 Fifty Road.
- June 12, 2014: Appealed to the Ontario Municipal Board Case No. PL140601. Prehearing set for February 2015.
- May 22, 2014: Notice of Adoption
- May 14, 2014: Approved and adopted by Council
- April 15, 2014: Presented proposed changes to the Secondary Plan and reported on the outcome of the Open House and Information Session held on February 6, 2014.
- November 19, 2013: Presented to Planning Committee. Staff Report tabled to allow Councillor to work with the staff and residents to amend the plan.
