2018 Hamilton Winterfest Explore the city through winter-inspired celebrations!
HAMILTON, ON – The City of Hamilton invites the public to explore all that the city has to offer at this year’s Hamilton Winterfest. The 2018 program runs Feb. 3 to 19 and includes winter-inspired neighbourhood celebrations, theatre, heritage and recreation programming, and much more.
The City-facilitated program is celebrating its 40th year with more than 50 participating partners including neighbourhood associations, galleries, libraries, museums and curling clubs presenting events over 17 fun-filled days.

Gage Park Winterfest (alumni event)
Friends of Gage Park welcome you to join in our outdoor activities including wagon rides and BBQ for a low cost family event.

HPO Family Concert Experience: Pinocchio
The young and young-at-heart will enjoy this full-day of symphony-themed fun! Listen to exciting and familiar orchestral music in the comfort of this one-hour concert designed specifically with families in mind. Purchase a family day-pass or single person day pass and take part in pre-concert musical activities, including the create-your-own-instrument station, instrument petting zoo and more. All day-passes include pre-concert musical activities and the one-hour concert at Mohawk College.

Gourley Park’s Winterfest (alumni event)
Gourley Park’s annual ‘Winterfest in the Park’ is run in conjunction with the City. It is open to the entire community but mainly geared to kids under 14 and their families. Come enjoy our winter themed activities such as horse and wagon rides, face painting, lumberjack games, tandem skiing, obstacle course and crafts.

North Central Winterfest (alumni event)
Join us at North Central Park for a day of fun for the whole family including food, games and hopefully snow.

deLight 2018 - GArbaGE Forest
Coming this winter, deLight, Hamilton’s Light Fest returns with a whimsical light installation in Gage Park to show that the park belongs to all of us – along with its forest of garbage.

French Kiss Night
French Kiss Night @ Artword Artbar promises to have you fall in love with our romantic culture and talented francophones. All ages are welcome to join us in a welcoming venue space, serenaded by three of our favourite Franco-Ontarian artists for one great evening out on the town.

Frost Bites presented by the Hamilton Fringe
Frost Bites is a 4-day winter performance festival that will engage six performance companies in creating site-specific work in unconventional spaces.
