Additional HSR service coming to Hamilton Airport and Van Wagner’s Beach areas this summer
Hamilton, ON – In a continuing effort to improve the customer experience, HSR will begin providing additional service to the John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport and the Van Wagner’s Beach area beginning June 24, 2018.
John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport
Customers travelling to the John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport will be able to take the Glanbrook TransCab service from the Mountain Transit Centre to Mount Hope during extended hours Monday to Saturday, and now on Sundays with newly added weekend hours.
This extended service will improve connectivity for travellers using HSR services to get to the airport, and will it make it even easier for customers to access the airport’s new summer program of 24 weekly flights by Swoop Airlines.
Glanbrook TransCab will now run Monday to Saturday between 6 am and 2 am and on Sundays between 6 am and 1 am.
Van Wagner’s Beach Area
Additionally, HSR will extend service on the #56 Centennial to accommodate summer activities happening in the beach strip area. Service will be extended from the regular 6 pm end time to 9 pm Monday through Sunday.
The additional service will provide customers with improved connectivity to enjoy Confederation Beach Park, the Waterfront Trail, Lakeland Pool, Adventure Village, Hutch’s on the Beach, Barangas on the Beach, Wild Waterworks, and other key locations near Van Wagner’s Beach.
