Battlefield House Museum & Park seeking volunteers
HAMILTON, ON – Battlefield House Museum & Park is actively recruiting volunteers, aged 13 and older, to assist with the Re-enactment of the Battle of Stoney Creek on June 1 and 2. Training, orientation and appropriate clothing will be provided. High School students will earn credit toward their volunteer hours required to receive their Ontario Secondary School Diploma.
Volunteers of the museum can also choose to assist with other events throughout the year and engage in the collation and distribution of promotional materials as required. This is a great way to share passion for history, meet new people and join in the excitement of the annual Re-enactment of the Battle of Stoney Creek and other popular events hosted by the museum.
The public are encouraged to call 905-662-8458 or email [email protected] if interested in assisting with the event.
