Cannon St Reconstruction Update: Paving this Weekend

HAMILTON, ON - The Cannon St reconstruction project is continuing to move ahead this weekend with overnight paving operations between James St N. and Ferguson Ave N. In order to re-open part of Cannon St before Supercrawl, the City of Hamilton is conducting paving operations between James St N. and Ferguson Ave. N. starting tomorrow night, Saturday, August 24 at 7 pm.

Crews will be completing paving operations between the hours of 7 pm and 7 am to avoid interruptions to major arterial cross streets during the daytime. The paving operations are expected to take two nights and should wrap up on the morning of Monday, August 26, weather permitting. Paving on Cannon St between Ferguson Ave N and Sherman Ave N will occur later this fall.
