Celebrating the Hamilton Sports Community at the 31st Annual Sport Volunteer Appreciation Banquet
HAMILTON, ON - September 19, 2017 - On September 21, more than 60 sport organizations and over 700 attendees will gather at the 31st Annual Sport Volunteer Appreciation Banquet to honour the citizens who volunteer their time and energy to sports in Hamilton. The annual theme is “City of Hamilton Volunteers Making a World of Difference” and sport organizations, coaches, officials, youth and administrators are nominated for their contributions. This year’s keynote will be delivered by motivational speaker, comic and writer Deborah Kimmett.
Mayor Fred Eisenberger, Councillor Tom Jackson, Councillor Donna Skelly, Councillor Terry Whitehead and Councillor Judi Partridge will be attending the 31st Annual Sport Volunteer Appreciation Banquet to share in the celebration.
