City asks residents to monitor bank activity after Flamborough Municipal Service Centre drop-box vandalized
Hamilton ON – The City of Hamilton is asking anyone who may have used the Flamborough Municipal Service Centre (MSC) drop-box between 4:30 p.m. on September 27 and 12 noon on September 28 to monitor their bank activity after staff noticed that the drop-box was vandalized. Hamilton Police have been contacted and are investigating.
The City anticipates this incident may only impact a small number of residents and is communicating widely to try to reach anyone who may have used the drop-box that night.
If a resident has a concern about activity in their bank account they should contact their financial institution for further instructions.
The drop-box is available for residents to deposit correspondence or City service information outside of business hours.
