City opens new bike path on Governors Road

HAMILTON, ON – The media and public are invited to attend a celebration event to officially open the new Governors Road bike path in Dundas. As part of the celebration, all are welcome to join members of the community and students from Sir William Osler Elementary School, St. Bernadette Catholic Elementary School, Dundana Elementary School and Dundas Valley Secondary School for a morning bike ride. Ward Councillor Arlene VanderBeek will also be on hand to bring greetings. Refreshments to follow.

Agenda & Locations: Group Ride will start 8 am, departing from the corner of Creighton Drive and Governors Road on the bike path, as indicated on the map below with a red star. Opening Remarks will be at 8:30 am till 8:45 am, in front of the tennis courts located in front of Dundas Valley Secondary School as indicated on the map below with a yellow star.
