Congratulations Sarah Nurse and Team Canada Women’s Olympic Hockey Team

HAMILTON, ON – Congratulations to Hamilton’s Sarah Nurse and the entire Team Canada Women’s Olympic Hockey Team on their gold medal win.

Sarah Nurse scored the opening goal in the 2022 Gold medal game where Team Canada defeated the United States 3-2. She also got an assist, setting a Canadian record for the most points in a single tournament.

Her recording breaking didn’t stop there as she is now the first black woman to win a gold medal in hockey.

All of Hamilton is so proud of Sarah. Her hard work and determination inspires us all.

Sarah exemplifies the very best of Hamilton. We could not be more proud that she is now a gold medal Olympic champion.

It is so wonderful that Sarah is bringing gold back to the Hammer!
