Construction on Birch Avenue complete: Open to two-way traffic between Wilson St and Barton St today

HAMILTON, ON - Beginning today, Birch Ave will reopen after several months of construction. As part of the reconstruction project, one section of Birch Ave has been converted to accommodate two-way traffic.

The section between Wilson St and Barton St will reopen to two-way traffic beginning today. Birch Ave between Burlington St E and Princess St will remain one-way southbound.

The reconstruction work on Birch Ave included new watermain installations, road reconstruction, and a new pedestrian crossover.

Local residents have been notified of the traffic changes.
