COVID-19 Outbreak at KOI Restaurant on Hess St. S
HAMILTON, ON – Today, Hamilton Public Health Services has declared a COVID-19 outbreak at KOI Restaurant at 27 Hess St. S, after two confirmed cases have been linked to the restaurant.
As a precaution, Hamilton Public Health Services is advising anyone who may have been at KOI Restaurant on September 20, 2020 to self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19. Any patrons of the restaurant on this date who develop symptoms of COVID-19 should contact the Public Health Services’ COVID-19 Hotline: 905-974-9848.
An outbreak is declared if there is evidence of COVID-19 transmission within a particular setting. Hamilton Public Health Services and the City’s Municipal Law Enforcement team is currently investigating this matter further.
