Deck the City Hall: Christmas tree installations begin tomorrow at City Hall
HAMILTON, ON – The search for this year’s Christmas tree centerpieces is over! On Tuesday, November 12, parks crews will place the winning Christmas tree in front of City Hall to officially kick off the holiday season in the city.
Every year, the City asks residents to donate the perfect tree to be displayed at one of three locations across Hamilton - Gore Park, City Hall, and Memorial Square in Dundas. This year the City received over 50 submissions.
Christmas tree installations will take place on various dates:
- City Hall: Tuesday, Nov. 12
- Memorial Square, Dundas: Wednesday, Nov. 13
- Gore Park: Monday, Nov. 18
Official tree lighting ceremonies will take place later in November and early December.

The City thanks residents for their participation in this year’s search for the perfect Christmas tree.
