East leg of Sherman Access closed beginning August 21

HAMILTON, ON – To safely complete slope stabilization works and road infrastructure maintenance on the Sherman Access the City of Hamilton will close the east leg of Sherman Access between the bottom of the Sherman Cut and Kenilworth Access for approximately two weeks.

The closure will begin on Wednesday, August 21 and is expected to wrap up on or before Thursday, September 5.

Following the closure on the east leg of the Sherman Access, the Sherman Cut will close for two days in both directions. An update on this work will be provided as it progresses.

Motorists should take alternate routes to avoid the closure.
