Gore Park Country Roundup
HAMILTON, ON – The 2018 CCMA Host Committee for the Canadian Country Music Awards is pleased to celebrate the kickoff event for Country Music Week in Hamilton with the Gore Park Country Roundup. This free family-friendly concert will feature The Washboard Union, The Abrams and Leah Daniels in Gore Park on Wed. Sept. 5 starting at 5 pm.
Presented by sponsors Spectra, Live Nation, IASTE 129 and Tourism Hamilton, the Gore Park Country Roundup invites attendees to help gather donations for Hamilton Food Share who will be on site to accept cash or healthy non-perishable food items. Fans that bring a donation will be entered in a draw for a chance to win two Gold package tickets to the CCMA Award Show Broadcast on Sun. Sept. 9 with superstar host Shania Twain.
This Country Music Week kickoff event will also feature local food trucks and a hands-on family fun zone in partnership with Parks Canada. Special thanks to media partner KX 94.7 and community partners Cogeco and LiUNA!
