Ground breaking ceremony at Gage Park Tropical Greenhouse
HAMILTON, ON - July 17, 2017 - Councillor Matthew Green and representatives from the Patrick J. McNally Charitable Foundation will attend a special ground breaking ceremony to celebrate the start of construction at Hamilton’s new Tropical Greenhouse at Gage Park.
Once complete, the 13,600 square-foot tropical greenhouse will be a prominent and architecturally stunning section of Gage Park. The publicly accessible amenity will offer a sub-tropical environment unique to the City and surrounding area, and will welcome residents from the immediate community and beyond. The premier facility will include a community gathering space, fish ponds, and exotic free-flying birds within the controlled environment.
