Hamilton Animal Services’ licensing program partners with Ren’s Pets

HAMILTON, ON - Hamilton pet owners who register their dog or cat with Hamilton Animal Services (HAS) or renew their existing licence, will receive $20 to use at any Ren’s Pets location. 

In sponsorship of the HAS Pet Licensing Programs, Ren’s Pets is donating $20 per pet (up to 4 pets) to use at their locations upon completion of licensing. This promotion is funded by Ren’s Pets at no additional cost to the City. Pet owners can purchase or renew their licence via www.hamilton.ca/doglicence or by calling 905-574-3433.

• The Ren’s Pets reward is available to dog and cat owners that register their pet for a Hamilton Animal Services Identification Tag.
• Pet licences assist in having pets returned home faster and spending less time in the shelter.
• Revenue generated through licensing assist HAS care for the animals in the shelter and allows for continued work in our community to help both domestic animals and wildlife.
• One dollar from each licence goes towards maintaining and creating new leash-free dog parks in the City of Hamilton.
• Over 700 lost dogs enter the HAS shelter each year.
• HAS issues and renews over 40,000 pet licences each year.
