Hamilton Fire welcomes residents to open house events
HAMILTON, ON - On October 14, 2019, the members of Hamilton’s Fire Department are inviting residents to visit their local fire stations, to talk to Hamilton’s firefighters about fire safety while getting up close to some of the apparatus and equipment.
Staff will be encouraging residents to plan and practise their fire escape plans. Special focus will also be on unattended cooking and careless smoking as the leading causes of residential fires in Hamilton. Please bring a non-perishable food donation for our community food banks.
