Hamilton Paramedic Service Helping CityKidz Deliver Christmas
HAMILTON, ON – Hamilton’s paramedics are trading in their sirens for Santa hats this Saturday to make sure every child in Hamilton can experience the joy of Christmas this year. Now in its 15th year partnering with CityKidz and HMECU, Hamilton Paramedic Service are filling ambulances with toys and taking donations in support of Hamilton’s less fortunate children.
Paramedic Commander Santa Pasqua and Superintendent Craig McCleary have been the leads of this initiative for (15) years. “Our Paramedics look forward to this event every year. It gives us the opportunity to spend more time with the people in our community that we help every day, allowing us to give back in a unique way during the holiday season. It is truly heartwarming to see Hamiltonians come together with our Paramedics for this worthwhile cause. The way they step up to help Hamilton’s kids by packing our ambulances full of toys is inspiring.”
Paramedics are encouraging the community to bring a new toy to help fill an ambulance at:
Walmart, 510 Centennial Parkway North
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
