Hamilton Paramedics seeking the public’s assistance in locating lost medication pouch
HAMILTON, ON – On May 25, 2018 at 8:45 pm, the Hamilton Paramedic Service (HPS) was notified of a missing medication pouch. As a result, the Hamilton Paramedic Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating this medication pouch and its contents.
HPS has notified the appropriate agencies of the situation as well as Hamilton Police Services who have been assisting with the search. The public should be aware that the medications include morphine and midazolam, both very potent medications that are used to ease severe pain and sedate patients during medical procedures. Members of the public should practice extreme caution should they come into contact with them, and consider them dangerous and potentially fatal if used by an unauthorized individual.
