Hamilton’s Anti-Racism Resource Centre is asking for community input
HAMILTON, ON - The Hamilton Anti-Racism Resource Centre (HARRC), a pilot project involving the City of Hamilton, McMaster University, and the Hamilton Centre for Civic Inclusion (HCCI) is undergoing revitalization and would like input from the community.
A community engagement plan is being developed in an effort to establish a more robust and relevant program for the residents of the City of Hamilton. These efforts include public consultations events, information tables at upcoming festivals, fairs, and events, as well as online survey tools. Look for these engagement opportunities and more beginning in June 2019.
The City of Hamilton and its partners recognize the importance of diversity and inclusion to our present and future success as a place to live, work and play, and we are looking forward to engaging our community in consultation to better understand the lived experiences of racism and the current needs and racism related issues faced by the residents of the Hamilton.
