HSR offering free rides to Arkells Rally at Tim Hortons Field on Saturday

HAMILTON, ON – This Saturday, the HSR will offer free rides for ticket holders heading to the Arkells Rally at Tim Hortons Field. Fans can show their ticket to the driver when boarding the bus for a ride to and from the rally. The ticket-to-ride will run from 3 pm until end of regularly scheduled Saturday service at approximately 2 am.

The HSR and the Arkells are partnering on a number of exciting initiatives over the coming months, including the ticket-to-ride for Saturday’s rally, a recent video shoot for “People’s Champ” on an HSR bus, and for promotions of HSR’s new “(re)envision” campaign, beginning later this summer.

HSR uses a similar ticket-to-ride partnership model with the Tiger-Cats, where it benefits both parties.

This represents another investment that the HSR is making, not only in the community, but in showing it is ready to (re)envision the HSR and use non-traditional approaches to make transit a first choice in Hamilton – for current riders, potential riders, and visitors to our community.
