The Learning Annex
By connecting and collaborating with education, health care and employment providers, the Learning Annex supports youth in achieving their goals. The on-site youth navigator understands the challenges youth face and helps them prepare them for their future by creating pathways to community services and employment. The Learning Annex is a partnership initiative between the City of Hamilton and community partners, with funding from the Local Poverty Reduction Fund.
The Circuit 4.0 by Hamilton Public Library
The Circuit 4.0 is a collaborative and creative space located on Central Library’s 4th floor featuring a Makerspace, a Digital Media Lab, Recording Studio, performance space as well as individual and group meeting space. It is an adaptable space that can accommodate 400 people for special events or can be divided into smaller components for group meetings and individual study.
City School by Mohawk College at the Circuit
Launched in the fall of 2015, City School by Mohawk brings Hamilton’s college into the community. City School offers tuition-free courses and workshops and serves as a base camp for the journey to post-secondary education.
