Mayor Eisenberger introduces Order of Hamilton

HAMILTON, ON – Mayor Eisenberger has announced the creation of a new award of merit to be called the Order of Hamilton, recognizing the everyday person who has made significant volunteer accomplishments in service to, and in building community within the City of Hamilton.

Residents who are making, or have made, noteworthy contributions in a volunteer capacity are eligible for the Order of Hamilton. Nomination forms will be available on hamilton.ca, at Hamilton Public Library branches, City of Hamilton Service Centres and City Hall and can be submitted online and in-person. Additional details regarding the nomination process and selection committee will be announced in the coming weeks.
