National Housing Day event celebrates front line staff
HAMILTON, ON – On November 28, 2019, the Housing Services Division will host an event at Hamilton City Hall for National Housing Day. This year’s theme, Housing from the Frontline, will celebrate the impact of those working in the affordable housing field and recognize the lives changed through this work.
Recognized officially in 2000, National Housing Day (November 22) provides communities across Canada with the opportunity to reflect on the country’s affordable housing needs and to work towards finding innovative solutions for housing and homelessness issues. This event is supported in partnership with CMHC, Hamilton-Burlington Realtors Association, Alectra Utilities and Union Gas.
Media are invited to attend this event.
