Official ribbon cutting ceremony for John Rebecca Park

HAMILTON, ON – On November 27, 2019 the City of Hamilton will celebrate the official opening of John Rebecca Park located on the corner of John St N and Rebecca St in downtown Hamilton.

Councillor Farr, Graham McNally and City staff will welcome guests for an official ribbon cutting and photo opportunity.

This celebration will mark the completion of the 1.5 acre converted parking lot, which includes a spray plaza, ice rink, shade structure, tree and perennial planting, accessible asphalt walkways, and various types of seating. The park also contains stormwater management features including rain gardens and tree groves.
