Our Future Hamilton Summit highlights public safety in a connected world
HAMILTON, ON – The City of Hamilton has opened registration for the 2018 Our Future Hamilton Summit. The theme for this year’s annual summit is Public Safety in a Connected World.
Now in its third year, the summit will bring community partners, stakeholders and residents together to explore various aspects of public safety and discuss how we can continue to work together in making our city safe, supportive, and inclusive.
The summit will take place on Nov. 13, 2018 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at LIUNA Station, 360 James Street North, Hamilton. Over 450 participants including residents, community stakeholders, policy makers, and representatives from out-of-town are expected to attend the free event. Registration is required. Our Future Hamilton is the city’s 25-year community vision. The City of Hamilton and over 118 community organizations have committed to implementing the Vision. Each year, the summit explores a current issue prioritized in the community vision. The summit also includes progress reporting, community networking, table discussions and respected keynote speakers.
