Positive case of COVID-19 at the Hamilton Farmers’ Market
HAMILTON, ON - The City of Hamilton and the Hamilton Farmers’ Market are advising residents that an individual working at a stall in the Hamilton Farmers’ Market has tested positive for COVID-19.
The individual last worked at the Hamilton Farmers’ Market on May 7, 2021 and is currently in self-isolation.
Although the individual was working with the appropriate face mask and had physical distancing measures in place, the City of Hamilton, the owner of the facility where the market is located, and the Hamilton Farmers’ Market are advising the community of the positive test result out of an abundance of caution.
A thorough cleaning has taken place at the Market and there is no interruption to hours of operation.
The Hamilton Farmers’ Market extends its best wishes to the individual and hopes for a speedy recovery.
