Sanford Ave S at Rutherford Ave closed beginning Monday

HAMILTON, ON - To safely complete watermain valve replacements on the corner of Sanford Ave S and Rutherford Ave, the City of Hamilton will close Sanford Ave S between Cumberland Ave and Delaware Ave as well as Rutherford Ave between Sanford Ave S and Myrtle Ave beginning on Monday, September 14, 2020.

The work is expected to last six weeks and wrap up on or before October 26, 2020, weather permitting.

Residents impacted by noise, dust or water service restrictions have been notified.

Local access will be maintained, but there will be no access through the work zone. Motorists should follow signs for detour.

HSR Routes will not be impacted.
