Statement by Mayor Eisenberger on Independent Review of Hamilton Pride 2019

HAMILTON, ON - I have received and will be reviewing the third-party Independent Review of the events surrounding Hamilton Pride 2019 from Scott Bergman of Cooper, Sandler, Shime and Bergman LLP.

As Chair of the Hamilton Police Services Board, I wish to extend my thanks to Mr. Bergman and my appreciation for the work he has done resulting in his report and recommendations.

I look forward to Mr. Bergman’s presentation to the Hamilton Police Service Board on Thursday, June 11, 2020. Out of respect to Mr. Bergman, I will reserve my comments until his presentation is complete.
