Tourism Hamilton asks public to choose #MyHamilton Photo Contest winners

HAMILTON, ON – Tourism Hamilton invites the public to choose the winners of the 2018 #MyHamilton Photo Contest in a public vote.

Two first place winners will be selected by popular vote, now open and ending Sun. Sept. 16 at 6:00 pm. The public can vote in one of three ways:

• In-person at the Tourism Hamilton Visitor Centre (28 James St N)
• Online at www.tourismhamilton.com/myhamilton
• On Tourism Hamilton’s Facebook page

This year, Tourism Hamilton asked for photo submissions featuring the best of Hamilton in two categories: City Life and Outdoor Adventure.  A panel of judges reviewed more than 400 submissions and selected five finalists in each category.

Two first prize winners will be identified – one in each category - based on the results of the public vote, and will be announced online by Tourism Hamilton on or before Oct. 1, 2018. First prize winners will receive a weekend stay in Hamilton including overnight accommodations, meals and attraction passes. Both winners and finalists will also receive cash prizes.

Contest prizes have been generously donated by the following partners: Adventure Village, Art Gallery of Hamilton, Backyard Axe Throwing League (Batl), Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, Carmen’s Group, Hamilton Civic Museums, Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra, Homewood Suites by Hilton, Sheraton Hamilton Hotel, Royal Botanical Gardens, and Splitsville Entertainment.
