Tourism Hamilton Celebrates National Tourism Week
Hamilton, ON - Tourism Hamilton will celebrate National Tourism Week (May 26 to June 2) with a ‘Salute to Tourism’ live broadcast from the Visitor Centre, Lister Building, 28 James St. N. on Thursday, May 30 from 5:30 am to 6 pm in partnership with 102.9 K-Lite FM.
The annual Salute to Tourism event provides recognition to local Hamilton sport and meeting planner ambassadors for hosting their events in Hamilton and builds awareness of the city’s diverse selection of tourism assets through on-air interviews with tourism stakeholders throughout the day.
The public are invited to stop by the Visitor Centre for assistance with summer activity planning, maps, dining guides and more. They can also learn how to be a local tourism ambassador and enter for a chance to win tickets to the RBC Canadian Open on June 7 with overnight accommodations at the Sheraton Hotel Hamilton and a $100 gift card for Berkley North restaurant
