Tourism Hamilton Welcomes Supercrawl
HAMILTON, ON - The City of Hamilton invites the public to visit the Tourism Hamilton Visitor Centre, 28 James St. N., during the annual Supercrawl event from Friday September 13 to Sunday September 15, 2019. Visitors and residents of Hamilton are welcome to drop by to get local tourism information, receive assistance with wayfinding, and participate in activities.
The Visitor Centre will be open:
- Friday September 13 from 8:30 am to 9 pm
- Satueday September 14 from 10 am to 9 pm
- Sunday September 15 from 11 am to 6 pm
Weekend activities scheduled
- Anne Foster Windows Opening Reception
An opening reception for the newest Anne Foster Windows display will be held on Friday September 13 from 6 pm to 9 pm with opening remarks from the artist at 7 pm. Created by local photographer Nathan Nash, the window display features images from some of the biggest music events in Hamilton over the last year including Supercrawl 2018, the Canadian Country Music Awards, and Arkells Present “The Rally”. Nash’s display can be viewed until November 26, 2019. - Reimagine Our Museums
The City of Hamilton is developing a new strategy for the Hamilton Civic Museums. To help make sure that the future of the museums are relevant, accessible and engaging for all Hamilton residents and visitors, staff will be conducting surveys at the Visitor Centre on Saturday September 14 and Sunday September 15 from 12 noon to 4 pm. - On Air Broadcast with 102.9 K-Lite FM
Tourism Hamilton welcomes 102.9 K-Lite FM to the Visitor Centre during Supercrawl for a LIVE broadcast from the Lister Building:
Saturday September 14 featuring Sunni and Hayes from 1 to 3 pm and Aiko from 7 to 9 pm
Sunday September 15 featuring Darrin from 12 noon to 6 pm
